Multicomp Pro DPST-NO Momentary Push Button Switch 20.2mm Black IP56

Multicomp Pro Momentary Push Button Switch with a 20.2 mm mounting diameter and an IP56 rating, designed for panel mounting in industrial control applications. The double-pole, single-throw (DPST) normally-open contact configuration provides a momentary 'ON' action that returns to the 'OFF' position when released, making it suitable for start functions or temporary activation circuits.

Construction

The frame is made from Nylon 66 (94-V2) and the actuator from Nylon 66/PC (94-V2). The internal contacts are made from a silver (Ag) alloy, and the quick-connect terminals are made from silver-plated copper alloy.

Protection

The switch carries an IP56 rating, providing protection against dust ingress and powerful water jets. It is suited to environments where moisture and particulates are a concern, including harsh or washdown environments.

Electrical Ratings

The switch has a current rating of 16A at 125V AC and 6A at 250V AC, a dielectric strength of 1500V AC, and a minimum insulation resistance of 100MΩ at 500V DC.

Design and Installation

The switch features a classic round, raised black actuator. Its compact 20.2 mm mounting diameter allows installation into standard panel cutouts.
