Multicomp Pro MCKNP series 3W wirewound resistor, 0.27Ω, ±5% tolerance. AEC-Q200 qualified, non-inductive, flame-proof. Ideal for automotive use.
The Multicomp Pro MCKNP Series Wirewound Resistor offers reliable performance for through-hole mounting applications. Constructed with a robust rod-type ceramic body and a tin-plated iron surface steel end cap, this fixed resistor is designed for durability and stability in demanding environments.
Featuring annealed copper leads coated with tin, this component ensures secure electrical connections. It is insulated with a non-flame paint coating, providing enhanced safety during operation. The resistor can be joined by welding, and its terminal leads are highly durable, capable of being bent through 90° approximately 6mm from the body and rotated through 360° for a total of three rotations without damage. Furthermore, it shows no evidence of flaming or arcing under stress.
As a non-inductive type, it is perfectly suited for high-frequency applications. It boasts excellent flame resistance and operates effectively at an ambient temperature of 70°C. This component is qualified to the AEC-Q200 standard, ensuring it meets the rigorous requirements of automotive applications.
