The Multicomp Pro MCEMR-08-T is a high-quality 8 way end stackable DIP slide switch designed for reliable operation in demanding applications. It features a recessed actuator for protection and a robust construction that meets stringent industry standards, ensuring longevity and consistent performance.

Constructed with a black high-temperature thermoplastic nylon base and cover, rated UL94V-0 for flame retardancy, this switch is built to withstand harsh conditions. The actuator is made from white high-temperature thermoplastic LCP, also UL94V-0 rated, providing excellent thermal stability and durability. The switch offers a SPST contact configuration with a switching capacity of 25mA at 24VDC, making it suitable for low-power signal switching.

Key specifications include a maximum operating force of 1000gf and a rated life of 2,000 cycles both mechanically and electrically. It ensures reliable electrical performance with a minimum contact resistance of 100mohm at 500VDC and a maximum insulation resistance of 100Mohm at the same voltage. The operating temperature range is from -20°C to +85°C, allowing for use in varied environmental conditions.

The contacts and terminals are gold-plated, with contacts made from copper alloy and terminals from brass, providing excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance.
