This Multicomp Pro Thermal Switch is a precision thermostat switch designed for reliable temperature control in a wide range of applications. Featuring a thermo-bimetallic snap-disc with a fixed switching temperature, the switch opens or closes the circuit when the external temperature reaches the set threshold. The double contact system ensures efficient operation, and heat is transferred from all sides via convection or direct conduction, providing consistent performance.

The switch is universally applicable, functioning as a protective switch, sensor, or controller. It is particularly well-suited for low voltage and signal current applications thanks to its gold-plated contacts, which offer excellent conductivity and resistance to wear. With a normally closed contact operation and a rated current of 10A or 6A at 250V (50/60Hz) , this switch can handle a variety of loads.

This particular model features a U294 bead and L310 lead configuration with a switching temperature of 120°C (±5%). It is non-sensitive to current, ensuring stable operation across different electrical conditions. The switch has a temperature rating from 70°C to 190°C (in 5°C steps) and offers a contact resistance of less than 50mΩ (including the wire).
