The Nektar Impact GX49 is a compact and dynamic USB MIDI keyboard controller designed to deliver powerful functionality right at your computer. Featuring a 49-note, full-sized velocity-sensitive keyboard, it provides an expressive and tailored composition performance for your computer music system. This controller goes beyond standard MIDI input with its integrated DAW control panel. Eight dedicated buttons extend functionality to include control over transport and a host of other crucial DAW functions. Furthermore, a primary and secondary message can be programmed for each of seven buttons, delivering 14 programmable options in total. Nektar DAW integration is carefully crafted to provide a seamless experience with major software, including Logic, Bitwig Studio, Cubase, GarageBand, FL Studio, Reason, Reaper, and Studio One.

The Impact GX49 is exceptionally versatile and portable. As a low-powered USB device, it is USB bus-powered and works with any USB device featuring a Class compliant MIDI driver. It is fully compatible with Windows (XP and higher), Apple OS X (10.5 and higher), and Linux. You can even connect it to an iPad using the Apple Camera Connection Kit (not supplied), allowing you to work on the go for as long as your iPad remains charged.
