The NEXPERIA 74HC123D is a dual retriggerable monostable multivibrator featuring a reset function and output pulse width control. These high-speed Si-gate CMOS devices are pin compatible with low-power Schottky TTL (LSTTL) and are specified in compliance with the JEDEC standard number 7A.
Equipped with Schmitt-trigger action on the inputs, the circuit is highly tolerant of slower input rise and fall times, ensuring reliable performance in demanding environments. It can be DC triggered from active high or active low inputs and is retriggerable for very long pulses up to a 100% duty factor. The direct reset function efficiently terminates the output pulse when required.
Housed in a compact SOIC-16 package, this multivibrator operates with a supply voltage ranging from 2V to 6V and offers a rapid propagation delay of just 24ns. With an output current of 5.2mA, a low input leakage current of ±1.0μA, and a supply current of 160μA, it delivers efficient and precise logic functions across a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C. The device weighs 0.384 grams and measures 43 mm in height, 33 mm in width, and 15 mm in depth.
