The NEXPERIA Octal D-Type Transparent Latch is a high-speed Si-gate CMOS device that is pin compatible with low-power Schottky TTL (LSTTL). It features octal D-type transparent latches with separate D-type inputs for each latch and 3-state true outputs, making it highly suitable for bus-orientated applications. A latch enable input and an output enable input are common to all latches, simplifying control logic.
Designed for practical integration, the inputs and outputs are positioned on opposite sides of the package, allowing for an easy interface with microprocessors. This layout makes the device exceptionally useful as an input or output port for microprocessors and microcomputers. The 3-state non-inverting outputs ensure seamless connection to bus lines, while the common output enable input provides efficient bus control.
Built to withstand demanding environments, this logic IC offers robust ESD protection, with Human Body Model (HBM) JESD22-A114F exceeding 2000V and Machine Model (MM) JESD22-A115-A exceeding 200V.
