The ZTX651 from DIODES INC. is a through hole, 60V NPN medium power transistor in an E-Line (TO-92 compatible) package. This device is based on moulded plastic and a “Green” moulding compound, with matte tin finished terminals for reliable soldering. It is Automotive grade AEC-Q101 qualified and UL recognised, making it suitable for demanding applications.
Key specifications include a collector to emitter voltage (Vce) of 60V, a collector to base voltage of 80V, a power dissipation of 1.5W, and a continuous collector current of 2A. The transistor offers a collector emitter saturation voltage (Vce(sat)) of just 500mV at 2A collector current, ensuring efficient operation. With an operating temperature range of -55°C to 200°C, it performs reliably in extreme conditions.
