Omron G6K SMD signal relay, 5V DC coil, DPDT, 1A switching. Low profile for high-density PCB mounting. UL/CSA & BSI certified.
The Omron G6K Series represents a line of high-performance, subminiature signal relays designed for high-density mounting on printed circuit boards. These reliable electromechanical components feature a double-pole, double-throw (DPDT) contact configuration, making them versatile for various switching applications. With a low-profile design of just 5.2mm, they significantly improve mounting efficiency and are ideal for modern, compact electronic assemblies.
Engineered for exceptional soldering reliability, the surface mount terminal types incorporate a unique structure that enhances infrared irradiation efficiency. This allows the terminal temperature to rise easily during the reflow soldering process, ensuring excellent and consistent solder joints. The relay consumes approximately 70% less power than a conventional Omron model, operating at a low current of 100mW, which contributes to greater energy efficiency in your designs.
Built to meet rigorous safety and performance standards, this relay ensures a dielectric strength of 1,500V AC and conforms to FCC Part 68. The standard model is certified by BSI and conforms to UL/CSA standards, providing assurance of quality and reliability. Furthermore, by optimising the distance between the coil and contacts, it achieves a high impulse withstand voltage of 2,500V for 2 × 10μs.
