The ON Semiconductor H11L1M is a high-speed, through-hole optocoupler presented in a standard 6-pin DIP package. This device integrates a gallium arsenide infrared emitting diode optically coupled to a high-speed integrated circuit detector with a Schmitt trigger output. The built-in Schmitt trigger provides essential hysteresis for excellent noise immunity and pulse shaping, ensuring clean and reliable digital signals even in electrically noisy environments.
Key to its operation is the optimised detector design, which simplifies integration and enhances performance. This optocoupler is UL 1577 and DIN-EN IEC60747-5-5 certified, guaranteeing high isolation safety standards. It offers a very high typical data rate of 1MHz (NRZ), making it fully compatible with microprocessor drives and suitable for demanding digital isolation applications.
