The ONSEMI 80SQ045NG Schottky Rectifier is an axial-leaded, single diode featuring a robust epoxy moulded case with corrosion-resistant external surfaces and readily solderable terminal leads. Utilising the Schottky barrier principle in a large-area metal-to-silicon power diode, this component delivers high current capability, low stored charge, and majority carrier conduction for exceptional efficiency.
Its state-of-the-art geometry includes epitaxial construction with oxide passivation and metal overlap contact, ensuring a highly stable and reliable junction. The guard-ring design provides stress protection, while the low forward voltage and high surge capacity (140A) make it suitable for demanding power management applications. The cathode is indicated by a polarity band for easy identification.
Applications
