This advanced design achieves an optimal balance between a low forward voltage drop and minimal reverse current, making it ideal for power-sensitive applications.
A standout feature is its unique POWERMITE® heatsink design. Despite being 50% smaller in footprint area than a standard SMA package, it delivers equivalent thermal performance. It also boasts one of the lowest height profiles in the industry at less than 1.1mm. The low forward voltage directly contributes to higher system efficiency and can help extend battery life in portable devices. Furthermore, the low thermal resistance is facilitated by a direct thermal path from the die to the exposed cathode heatsink.
