The ONSEMI MBRS3100T3G is a robust, surface-mount Schottky power rectifier diode designed for high-performance applications where size, weight, and efficiency are critical. Its advanced design incorporates a large-area metal-to-silicon Schottky barrier with epitaxial construction, oxide passivation, and a metal overlay contact, ensuring reliable operation and excellent electrical characteristics. The diode is supplied in a compact DO-214AB (SMC) package, featuring an epoxy-moulded case that is corrosion-resistant and solderable.
Key Features & Performance
This rectifier is characterised by a highly stable oxide-passivated junction, providing exceptional ability to withstand reverse avalanche energy transients. It includes internal guarding for enhanced stress protection and offers a low junction-to-lead thermal resistance of just 11°C/W. The device can withstand lead and mounting surface temperatures of up to 260°C for 10 seconds during soldering processes.
