The ONSEMI Schottky Rectifier features an axial-lead design with an epoxy moulded case, built on the Schottky barrier principle using a large area metal-to-silicon power diode. It incorporates advanced geometry featuring epitaxial construction with oxide passivation and metal overlap contact for reliable performance and longevity.
This rectifier offers low reverse current and low stored charge with majority carrier conduction, resulting in low power loss and high efficiency. Additional features include a highly stable oxide passivated junction, a guard-ring for stress protection, low forward voltage, and high surge capacity. All external surfaces are corrosion-resistant, and the cathode is clearly indicated by a polarity band for straightforward installation and polarity identification.
