ONSEMI Schottky Rectifier 40V 3A Single DO-201AD

The ONSEMI Schottky Barrier Rectifier is an axial-lead device featuring an epoxy moulded case, designed for reliable performance in demanding electronic circuits. Utilising the Schottky barrier principle within a large area metal-to-silicon power diode, this component delivers exceptional efficiency. Its state-of-the-art geometry incorporates a chrome barrier metal, epitaxial construction with oxide passivation, and metal overlap contact, ensuring robust and stable operation.

This rectifier offers several key advantages, including an extremely low forward voltage drop, which contributes to low power loss and high overall efficiency. It also features low stored charge and majority carrier conduction, making it highly responsive in switching applications. Furthermore, all external surfaces are corrosion-resistant, enhancing the durability and lifespan of the component in various environments. The cathode is clearly indicated by a polarity band for straightforward installation.

Applications

Ideally suited for use as a rectifier in low-voltage, high-frequency inverters, this diode is also highly effective as a free-wheeling diode and a polarity protection diode. It is well-suited for power management systems and industrial applications.
