ONSEMI bidirectional sensitive triac, 4A, 400V. Ideal for AC control, lighting, motor drives and HVAC.
The ONSEMI Bidirectional Sensitive Triac is a silicon gate controlled solid-state device designed primarily for full-wave AC control applications. It switches from a blocking to a conducting state for either polarity of applied anode voltage with positive or negative gate triggering, making it highly versatile for various electronic circuits.
Featuring a small and rugged Thermopad construction, this component ensures low thermal resistance and high heat dissipation for enhanced durability. The sensitive gate triggering is uniquely compatible for direct coupling to TTL, HTL, CMOS, and operational amplifier integrated circuit logic functions, providing flexible integration options.
With all diffused and glass passivated junctions, the triac offers greater parameter uniformity and stability. It boasts a blocking voltage of up to 600V and handles an on-state RMS current of 4A.
