The Phoenix Contact DEV-KIT EH 45 FLAT DIN Rail Enclosure Development Kit provides a versatile and practical solution for creating custom industrial control and instrumentation modules. A key feature of this kit is the inclusion of PCB terminal blocks with a 5.08mm pitch, designed for a conductor cross-section of up to 2.5mm², facilitating secure and reliable wiring connections. The flat housing design, with an overall width of just 45mm, allows for high-density mounting on standard DIN rails, maximising space within control cabinets.

Kit Features & Assembly

Supplied in component form for self-assembly, this development kit offers significant flexibility. It includes an optional perforated board (perfboard) specifically designed for hand-soldering through-hole technology (THT) components, enabling rapid prototyping and custom circuit development. The enclosure offers ample internal space to accommodate circuits built with THT components.

For system expansion, the design supports module-to-module connection via a DIN rail bus connection, allowing for the creation of modular, interconnected systems. The enclosure meets the UL94-HB flammability rating, ensuring a basic level of fire safety for industrial environments. It features an IP20 rating, providing protection against solid objects larger than 12.5mm, making it suitable for indoor, dry locations.
