This innovative add-on board senses the position of your fingers in the air above it, using electrical near-field gesture sensing technology. It detects finger position in three dimensions (x, y, and z) and recognises common gestures such as flick left, tap, and double tap, allowing for touchless, intuitive control of your projects.
With a sensing distance of up to 5cm, the Skywriter HAT offers great flexibility for installation. It can be mounted behind a sheet of non-conductive material like acrylic or fabric, enabling you to hide the board completely inside an enclosure for a seamless, professional finish. This makes it ideal for interactive art installations, custom control panels, or any project where a clean aesthetic is desired.
