The enclosure boasts a gasketed lid with a two-piece 'tongue and groove' construction, offering effective protection against the ingress of oil, dust, and water. The one-piece gasket is made from high-temperature, U.L. listed silicone, ensuring a reliable seal. With an IP68 rating, this enclosure exceeds standard IP ratings and meets NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12, and 13 standards, making it suitable for a wide range of demanding applications.
Secure closure is achieved with included M4 stainless steel machine screws, which thread into integral stainless steel bushings. This design supports repetitive assembly and disassembly without compromising security. All hardware is stainless steel to prevent corrosion from dissimilar metals, and the lid screws are self-captivating, simplifying installation and maintenance.
