The ZXMS6004FFTA is an INTELLIFET™ N-channel self-protected enhancement mode MOSFET with a logic level input, designed for reliable operation in harsh environments. This surface mount device integrates over-temperature, over-current, overvoltage (active clamp) and ESD protected logic level functionality, making it a robust alternative to standard MOSFETs. It is ideal for use as a general purpose switch driven directly from 3.3V or 5V microcontrollers, and is particularly suited for loads with high in-rush current such as lamps and motors.
Key features include low input current, compact high power dissipation, short-circuit protection with auto start, overvoltage protection, over-current protection, and thermal shutdown with auto start. The MOSFET offers a continuous drain source voltage of 60V, an on-state resistance of 500mΩ, a nominal load current of 1.3A (at VIN = 5V), and a clamping energy of 90mJ. It is housed in a compact 3-pin SOT-23F package with an operating temperature range from -40°C to +150°C, ensuring reliable performance in demanding conditions.
