This modified polyphenylene ether thermoplastic is inherently lighter, tougher, and offers superior flame resistance, resulting in UL AWM wires that are more compact than their PVC counterparts. The non-halogenated insulation contains no heavy metal pigments, assisting manufacturers in meeting stringent Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) directives and environmental standards.

Engineered for reliability, the wire features tinned, stranded copper conductors that ensure excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. Its polyphenylene ether insulation provides outstanding abrasion resistance and is rated oil resistant to Oil Res. 1, making it suitable for challenging industrial environments. The wire operates reliably across a broad temperature spectrum from -40°C to +105°C, with a voltage rating of 600V.
