PROEL Active Direct Injection Box

The PROEL Active Direct Injection Box is a professional audio device equipped with an internal transformer, requiring +48V phantom power to operate. The inclusion of a transformer offers a significant advantage by avoiding any direct electrical connection between the sound source and the mixing console. This isolation provides two major benefits: the complete elimination of ground loops and the effective cancellation of common-mode noise, such as electrical hum.

Furthermore, the active design of this DI box provides distinct advantages over passive alternatives. You get null insertion loss, ensuring your signal strength is maintained without degradation, alongside noticeably reduced output hum and noise for a cleaner audio signal.

Connectivity is versatile, featuring a combo input connector that accepts both XLR-F and 1/4" JACK unbalanced signals, alongside a 1/4" JACK unbalanced link output. The balanced XLR-M output ensures a clean feed to the mixer. Equipped with a -26 dB PAD switch for handling high-level inputs and a GND LIFT switch for troubleshooting ground issues, this unit is highly adaptable to any stage or studio environment. A power ON indicator provides visual confirmation of active operation.
