SOT23-6 to DIP-6 SMT 0.95mm Pitch Adaptor

The Proto-Advantage PA0085C is a precision surface mount adaptor from the Chip Quik Compact Series. Designed to facilitate the conversion and testing of integrated circuits, it seamlessly transitions a SOT23-6 footprint (with a 0.95mm pin pitch) to a standard DIP-6 configuration (300 mil body width, 0.1” pin pitch). This enables easy prototyping, breadboarding, and testing of compact SMT components in more accessible DIP sockets.

Constructed from high-quality FR-4 material with a UL94V-0 flammability rating, the PCB ensures reliability and safety. The bottom-side machine pins come pre-installed and are meticulously gold-plated (1µm gold over 50µm nickel) for excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. Each pin measures 0.46mm in diameter and 3mm in length.

A key feature is the installation method, which utilises surface mount technology combined with partial through-hole techniques.
