The QTX VHF Headset Microphone is designed as a compatible and reliable alternative or direct replacement for specific portable PA systems, including the Busker, Quest, and PAL models. This headset features a separate VHF beltpack transmitter, providing wireless freedom of movement for performers, presenters, and instructors who require clear audio without being tethered to their equipment.

The system operates on a 175MHz carrier frequency and includes a pilot tone feature, which helps to reduce interference from other radio signals, ensuring a cleaner and more stable audio transmission. Power is supplied by two readily available AA batteries (not included), making it easy to maintain and use in various locations.

Connection to the compatible PA unit is made via a standard 3.5mm mono jack plug. The supplied UK mains plug (type G) is suitable for use in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Cyprus, Saudi Arabia, Malta, and many other regions that adopt this plug standard, offering broad usability.
