The Raspberry Pi Compute Module 3+ Lite (CM3+ Lite) is a highly versatile System on Module (SoM) designed for embedded applications. With a DDR2-SODIMM-mechanically-compatible form factor, it integrates the processor, memory, and power circuitry onto a compact 200-pin module. This allows designers to leverage the proven Raspberry Pi hardware and software stack within custom systems, while offering additional I/O interfaces beyond those found on Raspberry Pi model A/B boards for greater flexibility and rapid development.

The CM3+ Lite grants direct access to the SD card interface, enabling connection to external SD cards or eMMC flash devices. At its core, it features the Broadcom BCM2837B0 Cortex-A53 64-bit 1.2GHz SoC delivering robust single-core performance for a wide range of applications. The module is supplied with 1GB LPDDR2 SDRAM and supports high-definition media with H.264/MPEG-4 decode and H.264 encode at 1080p30, alongside OpenGL ES 1.1 and 2.0 graphics. Production life is guaranteed until January 2024, and it is compatible with NOOBS 3.0.0 software.
