The ROADRUNNER Insulated Wiring Pencil Wire is a high-quality enamelled copper wire solution, perfect for delicate electronics work. Featuring a self-fluxing polyurethane coating that conforms to BS4520 Grade 2 (incorporated within BS6811 Section 1, Pt. 3), this wire ensures reliable performance for various applications.
Ideal for prototype wiring, PCB track repair, shorting links and coil forming, this 38AWG wire requires a soldering temperature of 400°C to 480°C to remove its enamel coating. The pink-coloured PU jacket provides excellent insulation with a voltage rating of 1500VAC, making it suitable for precision electrical work.
Safety Notice: During soldering, the polyurethane coating may produce small amounts of toluene di-isocyanate (TDI). Adequate fume extraction is recommended to maintain safety levels below 0.02 ppm.
