The Grove I2C High Accuracy Temperature & Humidity Sensor (SHT35) is built around the advanced SHT3x-DIS platform, representing the next generation of Sensirion's sensor technology. It features a new CMOSens® sensor chip at its core, delivering superior intelligence, reliability, and enhanced accuracy compared to previous models.
This sensor offers exceptional performance with a specified operating range of -40°C to +125°C for temperature and 0%RH to 100%RH for humidity. It achieves a high accuracy of ±0.1°C for temperature and ±1.5 %RH for humidity, providing reliable data for critical applications. The digital output is fully calibrated, linearised, and temperature compensated for immediate, accurate readings.
Designed for ease of integration, it utilises a standard I2C interface supporting communication speeds of up to 1MHz. It includes two user-selectable I2C addresses, allowing for multiple sensors on the same bus. The sensor boasts a very fast start-up and measurement time, and is compatible with both 5V and 3.3V operating voltages, making it versatile for various microcontroller platforms.
