Sennheiser Evolution e608 Instrument Microphone

Sennheiser Evolution e608 Instrument Microphone is a compact dynamic microphone with an integrated clamp, designed for miking woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments in live performance environments.

Overview

The Evolution e608 combines Sennheiser microphone design expertise with modern manufacturing and material advances. Its exceptionally compact body, complete with an integrated clamp and flexible gooseneck mount, allows placement directly on the instrument, where it captures the direct sound of the instrument while remaining unobtrusive to the musician and audience.

Extensive internal damping and shock-mounting techniques isolate the sensitive capsule from extraneous vibrations, handling noise, and stage impacts, ensuring a clean signal.

Key Features

• Capsule Design: Developed using advanced CAD design and laser interferometry for precise acoustic performance and a frequency response tailored for instruments.
• High SPL Handling: Capable of managing very high sound pressure levels without distortion, suited to loud brass sections and powerful drum hits.
• Advanced Isolation: Proprietary suspension and shock-mount systems, combined with acoustically engineered grills, reduce mechanical noise and stage vibration.
• High Feedback Rejection: Designed to provide strong gain before feedback, supporting stable audio at high stage volumes.
• Neodymium Magnet: The transducer incorporates a neodymium magnet, providing a higher output level to balance instrument signals against stage amplification.

Applications

Ideal for on-stage performances, the e608 provides sound reinforcement for live instrument use, with particular suitability for woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments.

Choose the Sennheiser Evolution e608 Instrument Microphone when you need a compact, shock-isolated microphone for capturing instrument sound directly at the source.
