The StarTech.com 1 Port 2.5GbE & PoE PCI-Express Network Card delivers multi-gigabit networking speeds of 2.5Gbps, 1Gbps, and 100/10Mbps. This Power over Ethernet (PoE) LAN adapter provides both network data and power over a single CAT5e (or better) cable, eliminating the need for a separate power source or PoE injector for remote devices.

Supporting IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at (PoE+) standards, the card supplies up to 30W PSE (25.5W PD) at 48V DC to compliant powered devices. It features SATA and SP4 power connectors for versatile internal connectivity, alongside Wake-on-LAN support for remote management.

Designed for broad compatibility, this PCIe NIC installs into an available x1 PCIe 2.1 (or higher) expansion slot and is compatible with both Windows and Linux operating systems.
