StarTech HB31C3A1CDPPD3 4-Port USB 3.2 Gen 2 Hub with 4K Video & 100W PD

The StarTech HB31C3A1CDPPD3 4-Port USB 3.2 Gen 2 Hub is a compact USB hub that combines data transfer of up to 10Gb/s with 4K video output and 100W Power Delivery pass-through charging.

Overview

The StarTech HB31C3A1CDPPD3 is designed to expand connectivity at the workstation, providing multiple USB-A and USB-C ports in a compact housing that measures 98 mm x 54 mm x 16 mm. It suits desks, home offices, and on-the-go setups where space is limited.

Key Features

• USB 3.2 Gen 2 transfer speeds of up to 10Gb/s for moving large files, backing up data, or connecting external SSDs and other high-performance peripherals.
• DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode) on one USB-C port, supporting a USB-C monitor at resolutions up to 4K at 60Hz, with 12W of power for charging connected devices.
• Dedicated USB-C Power Delivery (PD) 3.0 port with pass-through charging of up to 100W for laptops, tablets, and other high-power devices. 18W is reserved for the hub's own operation.
• Integrated overcurrent protection (OCP) to safeguard connected equipment from power surges.
• 300 mm extra-long cable with a durable TPE jacket to reduce strain on the host port and provide greater setup flexibility.
• Operating system independent, requiring no additional drivers or software for automatic configuration.

Usage Notes

The host computer must support DP Alt Mode for video functionality. A compatible power adaptor is required for PD pass-through charging and is sold separately.

The StarTech HB31C3A1CDPPD3 provides a practical way to add high-speed data, 4K video, and high-wattage charging to a single compact hub.
