The StarTech.com Industrial 10-Port USB 3.0 Hub is a robust, TAA-compliant solution designed for demanding commercial and industrial settings. It provides reliable connectivity with built-in surge and electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection on every single port, safeguarding connected devices from electrical damage in harsh environments like factories, workshops, and repair laboratories.
Featuring SuperSpeed USB 3.0 technology, this hub delivers data transfer rates of up to 5 Gb/s while maintaining full backwards compatibility with USB 2.0 devices. It also supports the Battery Charging Specification 1.2, capable of delivering up to 2.4A on any individual port, with a total maximum power output of 50W for charging multiple devices simultaneously.
Constructed with a durable metal housing, the hub is built to last. It offers versatile mounting options, including secure wall or desk placement, and comes with an optional DIN rail mounting kit for easy integration into industrial control panels. Its wide-range 7-24V DC terminal block input provides flexible power options to suit various installations.
Engineered for resilience, the hub boasts an extended operating temperature range of 0°C to 70°C, ensuring consistent performance in both hot and cold conditions. Critical protection features include 15kV Air and 8kV Contact ESD protection on each port, alongside 350W surge protection on downstream and upstream USB ports.
The hub is completely operating system independent, requiring no additional software or drivers for setup. It is supplied with a versatile multihead AC adaptor compatible with UK (Type G), European (Type C), US (Type A), and Australian (Type I) mains sockets, making it suitable for global deployment.
