High-precision STMicroelectronics DC-DC regulator. Adjustable output, 400mA, 18V max input, over-voltage protection. Ideal for SMPS & PFC.
The STMicroelectronics DC-DC Switching Regulator is a high-precision, adjustable voltage regulator designed for demanding power management applications. It offers very precise adjustable output with integrated over-voltage protection, ensuring the safety and reliability of connected components. With a very low typical operating supply current of just 4mA and a startup current as low as 50µA, it is exceptionally efficient for battery-powered or energy-conscious designs.
This advanced regulator features an internal start-up timer for controlled power-up sequences and an on-chip current sense filter to reduce noise and improve signal integrity. A dedicated disable function allows for power saving and system control, while its transition mode operation provides efficient power factor correction (PFC) capabilities. Housed in a compact SOIC-8 surface-mount package, it is ideal for space-constrained printed circuit boards (PCBs).
