The STMicroelectronics Fixed LDO Voltage Regulator is a highly efficient low-dropout regulator featuring an inhibit function and a fixed 3.3V output. Designed with low quiescent current, it is particularly suited for low-noise, low-power applications, especially in battery-powered systems.
When utilised in a 5-pin configuration (PPAK), a shutdown logic control function is available (pin 2, TTL compatible). This allows a part of the board to be put into standby mode when used as a local regulator, significantly decreasing total power consumption. In the 3-terminal configuration, the device delivers the same electrical performance but remains fixed in the ON state.
