Designed for axial leaded through-hole mounting, this fixed precision resistor features reliable tinned copper lead terminations. It boasts a power rating of 0.25W (250mW) and a voltage rating of 250V, making it suitable for a variety of demanding electronic circuits.
The resistive element consists of a thin film of nickel-chrome alloy evaporated onto a high thermal conductivity ceramic element. Metal end caps are force-fitted to the element prior to spiralling to value, while tinned copper lead wires are welded securely to the end caps. The component is then carefully coated with one layer of phenolic resin followed by three layers of epoxy resin, ensuring excellent durability and environmental protection.
This precision metal film resistor is particularly suited to applications where long-term stability is crucial. It exhibits excellent stability under both load and severe environmental conditions, alongside very low noise current and voltage coefficients. Tested for value and tolerance across an operating temperature range of -65°C to 155°C, it guarantees reliable and consistent performance in demanding environments.
