The Tenma Ltd 1000V Digital Insulation and Continuity Tester is a versatile and reliable instrument designed for precise electrical testing. Featuring a large LCD with dual display and backlight, this tester ensures clear and readable measurements even in dimly lit environments. It offers test voltage selections of 250V, 500V, and 1000V for insulation resistance testing, alongside AC/DC voltage measurement capabilities.

Key Features

This digital megohmmeter includes a low resistance function for effectively testing connections, a continuity buzzer, and over range indication. For ease of use, it is equipped with data hold, a large ‘Test’ button, and an output voltage lock. The device also features automatic zero adjustment and a sampling rate of 2.5 times per second. A low battery symbol clearly alerts the user when the battery voltage drops below the required operating level.

Specifications and Build

Designed for indoor use only, the tester operates within a temperature range of 0°C to +40°C and can function at altitudes up to 2000 metres. It complies with Installation Category III and Pollution Degree 2 standards, with a maximum relative humidity of 80%. Powered by a DC9V source consisting of 6 x 1.5V AA batteries, it provides consistent and dependable performance.
