The Texas Instruments SN74HCT541N is an octal buffer and line driver featuring 3-state outputs. Engineered to deliver the performance of the popular HC240 series devices, this component offers a convenient pin out with inputs and outputs on opposite sides of the package, greatly facilitating printed circuit board layout.
Operationally, the 3-state control gate is a 2-input NOR. If either output-enable input (OE1 or OE2) is high, all eight outputs adopt a high-impedance state. The device provides true data at the outputs, ensuring straightforward signal integrity and reliable data transmission.
