The Texas Instruments CD4020BE is a CMOS 14-stage ripple-carry binary counter and divider integrated circuit (IC), designed for reliable performance in digital logic applications. All counter stages are master-slave flip-flops, ensuring stable and accurate counting operations. The counter advances by one step on the negative transition (high-to-low edge) of each input clock pulse, making it suitable for frequency division and timing circuits.
