High-accuracy analogue temperature sensor from Texas Instruments, TO-92 package, -55°C to +130°C range.
The Texas Instruments LM19CIZ/NOPB is an analogue output CMOS temperature sensor designed for precise temperature monitoring across a wide range of applications. It operates over a sensing temperature range of -55°C to +130°C (when powered from +2.7V to +5.5V), making it suitable for industrial and instrumentation environments.
This sensor features a predominantly linear transfer function with a slight predictable parabolic curvature, allowing for accurate temperature measurement. At +30°C ambient, the sensor offers an accuracy of ±2.5°C, with the error increasing linearly to a maximum of ±3.8°C at the extremes of the temperature range. The power supply operating range is from +2.4V to +5.5V, and quiescent current is less than 10µA, ensuring minimal self-heating (less than 0.02°C in still air).
Key Features
The sensor is housed in a compact TO-92 package with 3 pins, making it easy to integrate into a variety of circuits. Whether you are developing power management systems, computer peripherals, or sensing instrumentation, the LM19CIZ/NOPB delivers reliable and accurate temperature sensing in a simple, low-power design.
