The Texas Instruments LM2576T-5.0/NOPB is a fixed output, step-down (buck) voltage regulator designed for simplicity and high performance. As part of the SIMPLE SWITCHER® series, this monolithic integrated circuit provides all the active functions needed for a switching regulator, significantly reducing external component count to just four for a complete solution. It incorporates internal frequency compensation and a fixed 52kHz oscillator, streamlining power supply design. This device serves as a highly efficient, drop-in replacement for traditional three-terminal linear regulators, offering substantial improvements in thermal management by dramatically reducing or even eliminating the need for a heat sink.

Engineered for robust operation, the regulator features a wide input voltage range from 4V to 40V, delivering a stable 5V output at up to 3A of current.
