Advanced regulating PWM controller from TI. 500kHz, dual 60V outputs, 5V reference, DIP-16. Ideal for power management.
The Texas Instruments UC3524AN is an advanced regulating pulse width modulator designed to maintain the highly versatile architecture of the industry standard UC3524 (SG3524) while delivering significant performance improvements. This PWM controller is pin-compatible with non-A models, allowing direct interchangeability in most existing applications without affecting power supply performance.
Featuring a precise 5V reference trimmed to ±1% accuracy, it eliminates the need for potentiometer adjustments. The error amplifier's input range includes 5V, removing the need for a reference divider. A current sense amplifier is useful in either the ground or power supply output lines. The device also includes a pair of 60V, 200mA uncommitted transistor switches, enhancing output versatility.
