These thermal cut-off fuses (also known as thermal links) are designed to interrupt an electrical circuit permanently and safely when operating temperatures exceed their precise rated temperature, preventing potential damage or fire.

As part of the MICROTEMP range, the G7 series is specifically engineered for applications requiring miniaturised components. Remarkably, it is approximately two-thirds the size of the older G4 and G5 series models, making it an excellent choice for space-constrained designs where maximum current interrupt capability is not a primary requirement. Its one-shot operation ensures a fail-safe power cut-off.
