Travabon Classic Skin Protection / Barrier Cream is a specialist pre-work cream designed to protect the skin against a wide range of heavy oil-based and mechanical irritants encountered in professional and industrial settings. This essential personal protective equipment (PPE) provides a reliable barrier against substances such as industrial oils, grease, carbon black, and paint.

The formula contains unique oil-suspending emulsifiers which encapsulate contaminants, making the skin significantly easier to clean after work. This helps to reduce the need for harsh scrubbing and abrasive soaps, promoting better skin health. A high pigment content within the cream offers a visible layer of protection against heavy contamination, ensuring you can see where it has been applied and where it may have worn off.

Crucially, this barrier cream is silicone-free. This means it will have no adverse effect if it comes into contact with surfaces prior to the application of paint, adhesives, or other surface coatings, preventing defects and ensuring a proper finish. The absence of silicone also ensures it has been independently tested and proven by the German Institute of Rubber Technology (DIK) to have no negative effect on the vulcanisation process, making it safe for use in rubber manufacturing and related industries.
