TUK CONNECT5+ 8 Pair Consolidation Module

The TUK CONNECT5+ 8 Pair Consolidation Module is a high-performance networking component designed to facilitate structured cabling installations, additions, moves, and changes. It allows an installer to terminate two 4-pair Cat5e UTP cables, creating a centralised and organised consolidation point for data circuits.

A key, innovative feature of this module is its centre port test access capability. This design enables individual data circuits to be tested without disrupting the entire network, significantly minimising potential downtime during maintenance or troubleshooting. The module’s compact dimensions are identical to the common 237A telephony strips, ensuring direct compatibility and easy mounting within standard connection boxes and 19” subracks.

Constructed with reliability in mind, it features tried-and-tested industry-standard LSA+ type contacts with silver plating. This ensures excellent electrical conductivity and maintains performance even after multiple re-terminations. The module is fully compliant with Cat5e performance standards for a consolidation point and is suitable for use with Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+) applications, providing versatility for modern network demands.

The housing is made from durable, flame-retardant PBT material (meeting UL94V-0 standards) in a white and grey colour scheme. It includes a practical disconnection facility, allowing lines to be temporarily isolated for testing purposes. The module is fully compatible with a wide range of industry-standard hardware, including back-mount frames, label holders, and standard insertion tools, making it a versatile and reliable choice for professional installers.
