V-TAC VT-8051 360° Ceiling Mounted PIR Sensor

The V-TAC VT-8051 is a high-performance, ceiling-mounted passive infrared (PIR) motion sensor designed for automatic lighting control and energy management. By detecting occupancy within a space, it intelligently switches connected lights and other electrical loads on and off, contributing to significant energy savings and enhanced safety in unoccupied areas.

This sensor features a 360° detection range when surface or recess-mounted, providing comprehensive coverage for rooms such as offices, storage areas, corridors, and toilets. For wall-mounted installations, it offers a 180° detection range. Its high-quality infrared receptors ensure instant and reliable functioning, with a maximum sensing range of up to 6 metres.

The VT-8051 offers extensive customisation to suit various environments and user needs. Key adjustable parameters include:

• Time Delay: Set how long the lights remain on after motion is no longer detected.
• Ambient Light Level (Lux): Configure the sensor to only activate the lights when natural light falls below a chosen threshold.
• Detection Distance: Fine-tune the sensor's sensitivity range for optimal performance.

It also includes a manual override functionality, allowing the sensor to be set to permanent 'ON' (manual) mode or switched back to its standard automatic operation. With a rated load capacity of 1200W, it is suitable for controlling a wide array of lighting fixtures and compatible loads.
