The VCC LITEPIPE® Light Pipe is an advanced optical component engineered to efficiently transmit light from surface-mount LEDs to a display panel. Its clear optical grade acrylic body ensures maximum light transmission with minimal loss, delivering bright and consistent illumination exactly where it is needed.

A key feature of this light pipe is its ability to blend multicolour LED light into a single, uniform colour output, making it ideal for status indicators and displays where a clear, unambiguous signal is required. The innovative near-flush design maintains a sleek profile while still providing an exceptional 160° viewing angle, ensuring visibility from a wide range of positions.

This performance is achieved through a sophisticated optical design. A concave-shaped receiving surface efficiently collects light from the LED, while Fresnel rings on the opposite surface expertly disperse it, creating a bright and even glow. The product is secured directly to the display panel using a durable spring steel clip with nickel plating and a black polyethylene grommet, requiring no mechanical attachment to the PCB. This allows for the easy installation and removal of the circuit board without disturbing the display panel itself, simplifying assembly and maintenance.
