These terminals feature a durable black borosilicate sintered glass bead insulator, which offers a recommended maximum working temperature of 475°C. Each terminal incorporates a phosphor bronze wire loop, manufactured to BS2873 standards and electroplated with a bright tin coating (3 to 5µ thick) for excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. A key design feature is the compliant pin, which allows the terminal to be inserted into the 1.32mm PCB mounting hole without damaging the delicate hole plating. Once inserted, the terminal will remain securely in place even when the board is inverted for wave or reflow soldering, streamlining the assembly process.
