Vishay 021 ASM Miniature Electrolytic Capacitor 220 µF 40 V Axial Leaded

The Vishay 021 ASM series features axial leaded, miniature, standard aluminium electrolytic capacitors. Designed for reliability and performance, this range offers capacitance values from 1μF to 15mF, catering to a wide variety of electronic requirements.

These capacitors boast a ±20% tolerance and a working voltage range of 6.3V to 100V. Built for demanding environments, they operate efficiently within a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The miniaturized design provides a high capacitance-voltage (CV) product per unit volume, making them ideal for low mounting height boards. Furthermore, they are charge and discharge proof, as well as vibration and shock resistant, ensuring robust performance.

Housed in a cylindrical aluminium case, the capacitor is insulated with a distinctive blue sleeve. This construction guarantees durability and physical protection in various assemblies.

This specific component offers a capacitance of 220µF and a DC voltage rating of 40V, with an endurance of 2000 hours at 85°C.
