Vishay ES3D Ultrafast Diode, 200V 3A, 20ns

The Vishay ES3D-E3/57T is a high-performance, surface-mount ultrafast plastic rectifier. Engineered with a glass passivated pellet chip junction, it delivers high forward surge capability, low forward voltage, and exceptionally low power losses for improved efficiency in demanding applications. The diode is housed in a robust DO-214AB (SMC) case moulded from UL94V-0 flame-rated compound, ensuring reliability and safety. Its terminals are finished with a matte tin plating for excellent solderability and corrosion resistance. A distinctive colour band clearly indicates the cathode end for correct polarity during installation.

A key feature of this component is its ultrafast recovery time of just 20ns, making it ideal for high-frequency switching circuits where speed and efficiency are critical. With a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 200V and an average forward current rating of 3A, it offers robust performance in compact power management designs.
