VISHAY Model 64 Trimmer, 100K Ohm, 23 Turn Cermet

The VISHAY Model 64 Trimmer is a compact, multi-turn potentiometer designed for printed circuit (PC) board mounting. With its small size of 3/8 inch square and a low profile, it is an ideal solution for applications where space is at a premium.

This trimmer features a cermet element, which provides excellent operational stability and reliability over a wide range of conditions. It is fully sealed to IP67 standards, making it resistant to dust and temporary immersion in water, ensuring dependable performance in demanding environments. The component offers 21 turns of electrical travel and 23 turns of mechanical travel, allowing for precise and fine-tuned adjustments.

The Model 64 is available in five versions, differing by the position of the control screw relative to the PC board plane and the terminal spacing. This flexibility allows for easy integration into various circuit layouts. The resistance value range is 10 Ω to 2.2 MΩ, with this specific model providing a track resistance of 100 kΩ. It has a power rating of 500 mW and a resistance tolerance of ±10%, ensuring accurate and consistent performance.

Designed for industrial-grade applications, this trimmer operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C, making it suitable for harsh environments. It is also available in a qualified version (MIL-R-22097) for military and aerospace applications.
