The VISHAY TSOP32236 is a miniaturised infrared (IR) receiver module designed for remote control systems. It integrates a PIN diode and a preamplifier on a single lead frame, with an epoxy package containing an IR filter. This module directly outputs a demodulated signal that can be connected to a microprocessor for decoding, making it ideal for a wide range of consumer and industrial applications.
Engineered for reliability, the TSOP32236 features an internal filter for PCM frequency, improving immunity against ambient light and ensuring consistent performance. It is insensitive to supply voltage ripple and noise, and its automatic gain control (AGC2) type is particularly suited for compatibility with older AGC2 designs.
